Travel towards the coastal town of Charleston the oldest city in South Carolina. Take a tour of the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens the oldest public gardens in America. Cross the border into Florida and make your way to St Augustine the oldest European settlement in the state.

Travel South to Cape Canaveral the home of the Kennedy Space Centre, the hub of the nations human space programme. Also near the Space Centre is Canaveral National Seashore, 24 miles of undeveloped beach with 1045 plant species and 310 bird species.

Heading to the southernmost point of Florida only 90 miles north of Cuba, Key West famous for its world class snorkeling and diving.

Spend a full day exploring the wonderful Key West. Taking the hop-on-hop-off trolley is a great way to discover the " Conch Republic". Visit Mallory Square for the nightly Sunset Celebrations.

Take a day trip to Dry Tortugas National park situated 70 west off Key West.
Made up of seven small Islands. It is one of the worlds most eco-attractions. Its crown jewel, the historic Fort Jefferson was once used as a prison in the Civil War. The park offers some of the best snorkeling and skin diving in North America you will see an abundance of colourful fish and coral.

Travel to Miami and return your car to the hire depot at the airport. Board your return flight home to the UK.
