DAY 1

Begin your journey by boarding your international flight to Boston. On arrival in Boston your transfer awaits you to take you to your hotel where you are free to explore the city at your leisure this evening. You could visit Harvard University or The New England Aquarium.

DAY 2

Your day begins with a guided walk along the Freedom Trail, a unique collection of museums, churches, parks and historic markers that tell the story of the American Revolution. Your day also includes the Boston explorer pass which gives you the opportunity to explore the city at your leisure. Choose among 19 attractions and activities such as a hop on hop off trolley tour, Boston 'Duck'Tour and the Legoland Discovery Center.

DAY 3

Today you will collect your hire car and begin your adventure by driving north through the New England countryside to the coastal town of Kennebunkport. Your afternoon is free to relax on the beach or explore this pretty coastal town, maybe visit the oceanfront home of former President George Bush at Walkers Point.

DAY 4

Travel two and a half hours inland to New Hampshire's Lakes Region to picture postcard Jackson, located in the heart of The White Mountains National Forest. Where you can enjoy many scenic walks or simply relax in your hotel taking in the beautiful mountain scenery.

DAY 5

This morning you will drive to North Conway where you will enjoy an authentic cog railway train ride to the summit of Mount Washington, you will have the day at your leisure to explore this rugged region.

DAY 6

Your journey southwest into Vermont is a beautiful scenic drive beginning on the Kancamagus Highway mountain road, where they are plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the scenic viewpoints. This wonderful drive crosses the border into Vermont and the amazing scenery of The Green Mountains. This quintessential town is complete with White Steeple church, antique shops, and cozy country inns.

DAY 7

Spend the morning visiting historic Hildene the home of Robert Lincoln, the only child of President and Mary Todd Lincoln to survive to adulthood. The state has beautiful gardens, a goat farm and 12 miles of walking trails.

Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure perhaps a walk in the nearby hills or a hike to the nearby Lye Brook Falls.

DAY 8

Today's journey south takes you to the coast and to the upmarket town of Newport, Rhode Island. Be sure to take in the Cliff Walk a scenic 3 and a half mile walkway that borders the Back lawn of The Breakers and many other of Newports extravagant gilded age mansions.

DAY 9

Travel east to gorgeous Cape Cod, the site of quaint villages, seafood shacks, lighthouses, and beautiful beaches. Also, world famous in the summertime for Whale Watching. Between April and October Humpback, Finback and Minke whales migrate to these waters to feed.

Enjoy the day at your leisure where you are free to relax on the beach explore the coastal villages or take a boat trip to Marthas Vineyard.

DAY 10

Your day begins with a bike ride along the Shining Sea Bikeway, where you can take in the beautiful scenery along a 10.7-mile ride through woodlands, salt marshes cranberry bogs seascapes and a harbour.

Enjoy the afternoon at a local winery relaxing with a well-deserved glass of wine or two.

DAY 11

Return to Boston today for your return flight home. Your car can be dropped off a the depot at the airport before you check in for your flight home.

DAY 12

Return your car to the car hire depot at the airport.
